Sapper Prayer

Almighty God,
we pray Thee to bless
the United States
Engineers.

May our bridges always stand,
and our charges never fail.

Our members be ever loyal,
and our officers worthy of their loyalty.

May we work diligently in all our purposes,
and be skilled in our trades,
steadfast for You
and country everywhere.

Amen.

The Potter/ From My Poetry Book "Walk With God"

                                                            The Potter

 The Potter sits in the middle of many wheels, spinning His chair, creating at His will. Many created throughout His day; He creates all from the same clay.

 The Potter sits to ponder, this vessel I know, because I created it. It belongs over here, yea it fits. This other vessel will go over there; it will suit my plan just fair.

 The Potter sits back to think, I don’t think any of them are unworthy to save. I’ll give this mind to them, free will to choose Heaven or Hell.
